Record producer works with Chris De Burgh as part of Sky One festive TV show

A legendary record producer has made a song in his Cookham studio which featured on Noel's Christmas Presents programme at the weekend.
Stuart Epps, who has worked with Elton John, Oasis and Led Zeppelin in the past, was asked to work on a charity single with star Chris De Burgh and two brothers who were surprised as part of the Sky One show, fronted by Noel Edmonds.
Aired yesterday evening, the household name's seasonal show sees treats handed out to the nation's 'most deserving, hard-working and selfless people'.
One feature saw teen brothers Ben and Jamie Hazelby, from Manchester, rewarded for their tireless charity work since the death of their 41-year-old mother Gill, whose favourite song was Lonely Sky by Chris De Burgh.
Their dreams came true when programme-makers arranged for them to record a version of the song with the Lady In Red singer himself.
Stuart recorded Chris' vocals in a London studio while the brothers went along to his Station Studios in the heart of the village to sing their part. "The boys were over the moon and Chris De Burgh was marvellous", he said.
Proceeds of the track will go to St Ann's Hospice in Greater Manchester, which the family has been on a fundraising drive for.
